FIELD OF DREAMS
Hi everyone, how are you?
Back from Glastonbury? Well, except that little bit of you that will always be there, yeah? Oh and your keys, which you gave to a giant unicycling badger in exchange for a bite of his ‘magic falafel’ sometime during Coldplay. Yeah I know, I know.
For those of you just about ready to face getting healed in a field again might I recommend a trip to the Silwood Festival?
The where? The Silwood Festival, or Silfest. Now in it’s tenth year, Silfest is a small independent music festival held in the grounds of a beautiful 19th century mansion house in Berkshire. This year it’s on SATURDAY 16 JULY. Organised by the good people (and future world leaders, so better be nice to them) of Imperial College, Silfest will feature all sorts of amazing bands including our great mates Alphabet Backwards, the astonishingly-named ‘Megadudes’ and erm… us. If that’s not enough, there will be all night raving available, good quality food and drink, a traditional fete (good luck at beating The Winter Olympics at ‘Splat the Rat’ Silfest) and free camping.
Advance tickets are a steal at £14 (£50 for four) and £1 of every ticket sold will be going towards buying a cow. You herd (!).
