Hi everyone, how are you? Very well I hope.

It’s been a good week for your Winter Olympics. Lady Pippa Wragg Smith dropped into our top secret underground recording bunker to add her vocals, a touch of class, and some much needed professionalism, to our AMAZING new record. And I mean AMAZING as in, I-literally-can’t-believe-I’m-hearing-this AMAZING. I confidently predict that you’re going to like it. Or that you’re going to run screaming to the nearest exit - but you’ll still have to admit that Pippa’s bits are really good.

With the hit-making done for the week, Nige’ Winter Olympics and I took our seemed-like-a-good-idea-at-the-time Animal Disco down to the always-brilliant Brixton Windmill to see The Orphans (who used to be These Animal Men, hence the animal records, you see). The band were great; a joyous glam-rock racket, and totally lovely guys. And you know what? Animal Disco was pretty great too. A zoo-load of astonishing animal records, really TERRIBLY mixed together and played VERY VERY LOUD. There were attractive young people drinking and (yes) dancing to songs that normally no one ever dances to all night long. Animal Disco has got legs! Oh, and, if that wasn’t enough fun for one night, on the way home, we caught a very special night bus (see picture). The only way to travel I tell you.
