WINDMILLS OF YOUR MEGAMIND
Thank you very much to everyone who came out and put the ‘WIN’ and erm… ‘ILL’ in Brixton Windmilll on Friday. It was that rarest of rock and roll events, a properly cool time. Absolutely all the bands were great (when does that ever happen) the crowd were generous and good looking and the drinks were readily available in the foyer. Why can’t it be January the 7th every week?
Neil (our bass player) says we played our ‘American Football’ set. Three hours of entertainment despite very little actual on field game time. I think I know what he means, and the bumps, bruises, dead leg and sore head I woke up with on Saturday suggests he might be right (and that we might have got in a fight with a fridge).
For those of you that don’t have time to relive the whole nine yards (that’s an American football saying, isn’t it?) match highlights are attached above. Who is that mysterious hair-faced pitch invader at the end?
The photos were taken by incredibly talented lenswoman Kate Hallé. Check out more of her Photos from the Windmill here then seek out some of her other work and tell her how great she is… Thanks Kate!
Once you’ve done that, well why not put the kettle on, sit back and watch our exciting new video all over again. Oh come on, why not? We could use your hits and your comments!
Hope you’re well
